Visual Caption Head

Hi! I’m Gwyn Tawagon, and I’m so excited to serve as the Visual Caption Head for Breakthrough A. My marching journey started in high school, where I performed on both color guard and trumpet, including two years of indoor color guard. After graduating, I spent four years performing with Breakthrough Indoor while studying nursing before joining the staff. I currently teach as the Tolleson Color Guard Caption Head and work as a visual tech at both Tolleson and Corona del Sol. Outside of the marching world, I work as a PCU nurse — I love being able to bring the same focus, care, and teamwork from the hospital floor to the floor of performance.
